I started making and selling jewellery at the end of 2004. It was while researching suppliers on the internet early in 2006 that I came across the world of lampworking. I bought a starter kit and very quickly decided that this was what I wanted to do. Since then I have been lucky enough to take classes with Barbara Mason,Julie Anne Denton and Kate Drew-Wilkinson. At the moment most of my beads are made from a mixture of Italian and German glass together with some of the new American silver rich glasses such as Double Helix. My latest designs include a new range of silver core beads compatible with the popular European bracelet system. All of my jewellery is made with sterling silver. I combine my lampwork beads with a variety of other materials such as Swarovski crystal, freshwater pearls and semi-precious stones. |
